COVID Prevention Policy

COVIDSafe Planning

3PS is located in Melbourne and is subject to State Government rules based on Health Advice.  The strategy of lock downs are significantly reduce the likelihood of COVID transmission of disease and potential deaths in the community.

We support any and every activity that will mitigate the risk of the pandemic from being a risk to our families, friends and work colleagues so embrace the use of good quality products such as sanitiser, disinfectants and masks to keep every one safe.

The Victorian Government has announced the current lockdown across metropolitan Melbourne will be extended and a curfew put in place until 11.59pm on Thursday, 2 September. From 11:59pm on Tuesday August 17, authorised workers will also be required to carry permits when working, and when travelling for work.

Face masks will remain mandatory indoors (not at home) and outdoors, including all workplaces, unless an exemption applies.

For a more detailed overview of the restrictions, please see the updated Table of Restrictions.

Check-in everywhere, every time so that contact tracing has a chance to advise you of any risks that you may have come in contact with a carrier or location that may have been infected.

Every Victorian business must use the Victorian Government QR Code Service to check-in their workers, customers and visitors, with some limited exemptions.

Victorians must check-in everywhere, every time. Businesses must ensure that every worker, customer and visitor has checked-in, no matter how long they are at the premises.

Creating a COVIDSafe Plan

It is mandatory for every Victorian business with on-site operations to have a COVIDSafe Plan.

To ensure compliance, random spot checks are occurring throughout Victoria.

Your COVIDSafe Plan must demonstrate:

  • your actions to help prevent the introduction of COVID-19 to your workplace
  • the type of face mask or personal protective equipment (PPE) required for your workforce
  • how you will prepare for, and respond to, a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 in your workplace
  • how you will meet all the requirements set out by the Victorian Government. Some industries or workplaces are subject to additional industry obligations and have additional requirements of employers and employees.

Businesses must review and update their COVIDSafe Plans regularly, especially when restrictions or public health advice changes. Organisations with multiple worksites must complete a COVIDSafe Plan for each worksite.
